Solar Panel Installs in 2019
My Generation Energy is a proven powerhouse of a small business. During 2019, we completed a record number of installations, nearly 140 in Massachusetts alone.
Altogether, the arrays My Generation Energy built last year are now producing approximately 2,463,552kWh of electricity annually. The environmental impacts of this production are impressive.
According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, this solar production is offsetting 1,742 metric tons of carbon dioxide each year. That’s the annual equivalent of the greenhouse gas emissions from 396 passenger vehicles.
These solar arrays empower our customers to invest in a clean energy future while saving them money. They also help advance the commonwealth’s renewable energy goals.
Installations last year ranged in size from very small to large-scale. For example, a four-panel add-on helped one household fully cover its increasing electricity usage and a 10-panel system was just right to cover the needs of a modest household.
