We based our decision to go with MGE for their responsiveness, transparency, product awareness, and costs. Diane was extremely responsive from the first call and on-site visit to finalizing the design to ensure we were comparing apples to apples between all vendors. She was very upfront about financing options, and all the available incentives whereas other vendors were slow or somewhat less forthcoming about their specifics. We came into this project with a limited understanding of solar power generation and Diane helped highlight the key differences in manufacturer’s panels as well as the advantages of micro inverters over a central inverter. Finally, the installation crews were great and the process was fast, clean, easy, and efficient. While MGE’s cost was higher than most, we chose MGE because we felt we were getting more value for our investment.
